Very often, in sessions with children, I use games (like small dolls or Playmobil®) or drawing. But I like to renew my materials so that the session is always fun and motivating.
Not only do the aesthetics of magnets make them naturally very attractive, and children often use them spontaneously (in the waiting room or while I'm talking to their parent), but they are also a real work tool.
Thanks to the slate and the magnets, I can find indirect ways: offering writing to a child who does not wish to express themselves orally, getting them to put together a dynamic sketch by changing their magnets, writing and erasing.
