How do we organize ourselves with our children at home?

Generally, family organization at home is anything but a long, smooth river... work, homework, shopping, tidying up, meals and afterwork parties with friends (yes, they have those too!), it can be difficult to keep the pace while being available for our children and our spouse.

But don't worry, I have some tips for great family organization that will make life easier for everyone!

1) What you need!

First of all, get a large magnetic whiteboard, small colored magnetic notes, and dry-erase pencils or markers. Now, get ready to put a real family action plan in place! Imagine a world where each member of the family is associated with a color and a geometric shape. It's a fun way to instantly recognize yourself on the board! Then, get everyone together and decide on the task schedule together.

Who does what, when and with whom? Don't forget to add a dose of good humor and humor into your discussions, because after all, it's an opportunity to spend quality time together.

2) All hand in hand! (The practical phase)

Now comes the fun part: draw your little colorful shapes on the slate! Give free rein to creativity and don't hesitate to add small funny shapes for every task. Give each child the choice so they will feel more responsible and independent!

3) Everything won't be perfect and that's okay!

And yes, everything won't be perfect that's for sure, but there's no pressure to put on yourself, it's completely normal! Let your children experiment and learn at their own pace. You are there to guide and support them. So we relax and enjoy the process and savor the moments of bonding as a family.
