Nina Davidson
My name is Nina, and I have lived in Scotland for 17 years with my husband and our four daughters.
Originally from Bordeaux, I've always been a city girl. We spent 11 years in Edinburgh before settling into a small house near my husband's family's sheep farm in the Borders.
It's a real homecoming for him, and I was keen to offer my children a freedom different from what I knew in the city.
There's something magical about being able to open the door and let my children go explore the forest or the hills on their own.

Hello! I'm Karlijn, mom of 4 little monsters: three boys and a girl, Isa. The six of us live in the Netherlands, in a 1920s house that we almost completely renovated ourselves (yes, we like challenges!)

My name is Deborah, I have been living in Nantes for a few years. I live there with my husband Axel and our three daughters aged 7, 5 and 9 months.
We are a very close family, we spend a lot of time together. We like to do things together: manual activities, cooking, going to recharge our batteries on the Atlantic coast, going to eat a butter-sugar crepe in the street, reading books, watching movies as a family, seeing friends, simply enjoying life, but stuck together, always (except when the parents need a break 🤭)

A year ago we fell in love with a house that needed to be completely renovated and we decided to leave the city for ourselves.

After almost 3 years at home without leaving each other, we returned to school, in a small section, and to work at the beginning of September 2023.

My little trick for spending time with everyone is to ask them to take turns cooking a sweet recipe with me for snack time.
If I had to find a ritual that makes our lives easier, it might be the bedtime that we try to respect.
