A little note to introduce your family...

Hello, we are the team of J, Jessica, John and Joey (2 and a half years old).

A year ago we fell in love with a house that needed to be completely renovated and we decided to leave the city for ourselves.
settle in the countryside. We wanted our little Joey to be able to play outside and be more in tune with nature and the seasons.

This change of life was also in line with slowing down our lifestyle and fully enjoying our little one's childhood. We all love to craft, and now we have a great playground to do it in!

What is your biggest dream as a family?

I have the impression that a lot of families want to travel around the world, our dream is more to tighten our family cocoon!

We would like to have a big house to accommodate all our friends and family, to have big parties where we would all be together.


Being with those we love is the most important to us.

A place you like the most?

My grandmother's little native village on the Italian border, a small isolated hamlet that organizes something called the feast once a year. On the program, music, laughter, games and dancing, a friendly moment where the whole family, cousins, come together, it's truly magical.

This village perched in the heights is dotted with olive trees and lavender, it's a unique atmosphere that we love to experience again.

Children's toys are a bit like magical objects, found everywhere in the house!

At Ma Cabane À Rêves, we combine play and decoration with toys that are both aesthetic and fun.

Is this a criterion that you take into account when choosing your child's toys?

I admit to being demanding with my son's toys, my family knows me for that ^^.


As you say, toys tend to teleport everywhere so it seems really important to me that they can match the decoration and the atmosphere, everyone ultimately lives with it!


I think it's important to make children aware of the issue of aesthetics and “less is more”, beautiful natural materials, respectful of the environment.

Magnets that go in the bath, is that a plus for you?

We're more of a shower team here and Joey quickly made us understand that he wanted to have fun with the water! So I found a large metal basin so he could splash around and have fun.

Since then, baths have become a real little ritual and being able to use magnets to tell stories is a real plus! You can put them on the shower tiles and it makes this moment even more awesome.

What advantages do you see in using magnets rather than stickers?

The stickers always end up tearing and you have to constantly
renew them. Magnets seem to me to be a great alternative for
avoid this consumption. In addition they can put themselves fully
places without risk of damaging the supports, we experienced the

wish to anyone 😂.

I like the idea of ​​having magnets that are (finally!) beautiful!

It's such a flexible tool for children, both creative, educational and evolving, I love the idea of ​​combining themes and doing something completely different with them! It's infinite!

In an ecological approach, we have reviewed our magnet packaging. They are made from 100% recycled paper, certified FSC-Recycled, and printed with vegetable inks. In addition, they offer an activity on the back for children. At Ma Cabane À Rêves, we value recycling :) Are you sensitive to this type of approach? Could this influence your purchasing choice compared to another product?

Yes this is a real plus, the ecological aspect as well as the made in
France is part of our purchasing criteria and I would tend to
turn towards more expensive products but which enhance these aspects.

Where do you find your decorating inspirations? Some favorite brand names to share with us?

I browse decoration magazines, I create boards on Pinterest and I follow accounts that I like on Instagram. I also don't hesitate to look for inspiration in older things, old books, antique furniture, I like the mix of elements
contemporary with older objects that have a history, often this gives a beautiful resonance.

Nature also inspires me a lot, and even more so since our move where we can live to the rhythm of the seasons, there are always natural elements in the decor, a few acorns picked up while walking, a chestnut bug, a bouquet of wild flowers that comes from the garden.

Some favorite decoration brands: Kinetic Levi, Tré Timber Toys, Muskhane, Gabrielle Paris, Hay design, Roar studio…
